is it possible to display the search results on "all articles" in a dashboard and not in an item pane? thomas

I don't think that is possible.

First thing to try anyway is to install the advanced search CAT_SEARCH.
This is an add-on module which allows you to place the search in the skin.
Then you can have a play in the \DesktopModules\CAT_Search\search.ascx.vb

I had a quick look and try by hardcoding the tabid of a dashboard page but don't think it will work

i have another question!

each category has its own page. on this page the articles of the category are listed. the user only can see the articles overview but no article details. if i click on an article on the search results page it only shows me the article details instead of going to the category page, where the article is listed. do you have a solution for this? thomas
